  • Carolina Surf Photographer of the Year Award

Carolina Surf Brand announces the “Carolina Surf Photographer of the Year Award” to be presented at the 2016 Carolina Surf Film Festival. Surf photography is the ultimate challenge in terms of managing variables. In addition to juggling lighting, composition, framing, and all the other stuff in a photographer’s bag of tricks, a surf photographer must also master tide, wind, currents, and swell. Hell, we’ve always been in awe of their dedication to the craft. For the 2016 Carolina Surf Film festival, as a small token of our appreciation of their art, we’re offering a $500 prize to a Carolina based surf shooter. Check the deets at: http://carolinasurffilmfestival.com/carolina-surf-photographer-rules/ and submit your shots at: http://carolinasurffilmfestival.com/submit-photos/
